What is myBlackBeautyBox?
A quarterly African culture subscription box curated with fashion, beauty and food items showcasing specific regions, tribes, and culture in Africa.

What should I expect each season?

Each box is curated based on a specific region in Africa
You will receive 6-8 full sized products including authentic earrings, bracelets, neckpieces, food, snacks, and literature. The box gives you a small insight into each region, language, tribe, culture, and way of life. Our goal is to connect people to the diverse cultures of Africa whilst enjoying all the goodies from the comfort of their home.
Can I gift someone I care for?
Absolutely, you can share the gift of culture. We have received a lot of great comments from those gifted the box on how unique, thoughtful, and enjoyable their box was. Choose a quarterly or annual subscription.

BILLING

How much are the subscriptions?

Seasonal Membership:

Signing up for the seasonal/quarterly subscription, you'll pay $80.00 (US$), each season. Your membership automatically continues each season unless you decide to cancel before your upcoming bill date.

Annual Membership:

Signing up for the Annual Membership you'll pay $72 per quarter/$288* USD upfront (that's $32 (US$) in yearly membership savings! Your membership automatically continues each year unless you decide to cancel before your bill date.
Cancellations
You can cancel anytime, however, once a subscription renewal has been processed, it cannot be cancelled. Be sure to manage your subscription and pause or cancel before your next renewal date.

When will my annual membership price change?

All membership price change annually on January 1st
There will be notification by November, giving 60 days’ notice to cancel or continue membership on the new pricing. All prices are listed in US$. Any applicable taxes will be detailed in your MBBB invoice. Foreign exchange or transaction fees may apply for non-US customers.

SHIPPING & RETURNS

How does the billing schedule work?
Our billing and shipping schedule is organized to maximize shipping efficiency and help prevent overlap between the various groups and our community events. Boxes typically ship on the below dates after successful billing.

You will get your quarterly subscription box between 4-6 days from date of order. Box mail out seasons are in February, May, August, and November.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We offer free shipping within the USA and for our international subscribers, the shipping fees differ based on location. See calculated options at checkout.
How do I track my package?
You will receive an email when your box ships with your tracking number, dependent on the courier, tracking may not show any updates until your order reaches its destination. Items included in boxes shipped outside of the US are subject to shipping constraints.
What if my products are missing or damaged?
Although this is rare, we have found that most often your box is with the delivery service, and you should contact them directly using your tracking number to locate your box.

Damaged, defective boxes must be reported within 24 hours of receipt, (based on delivery date on tracking). Please contact us at hello@myblackbeautybox.com and our Customer Care team will assist you with filing a claim for our team to investigate.

REFUNDS

How can I get a refund if I’m unhappy with my box?
We are sorry to hear the box did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately, as this is an experiential limited edition box service and due to the nature of the business, subscriptions boxes are not refundable.

You may want to gift it to friends and family if it’s not to your taste and make someone’s day! We hope the following seasons boxes will be more to your liking, however, if you do not want to continue, do not forget to cancel your membership to avoid further charges.
